JCW ONLINE: Tuesday Summer Session

There are three major goals in writing: empathy (relating to people and their real experiences), entertainment (titillating people’s innermost inaccessible desires), and experience (giving someone experiences they couldn’t otherwise have). How are these goals balanced? Does it depend on genre? Style? Goal?

JCW’s weekly Tuesday meetings are back with their third annual special summer session! Join us for a little more informal creative fun. We’ll start each meeting with a prompt and some writing and sharing time, then move into a guided discussion. This summer’s discussion topics include things like pantsing versus planning, archetypes versus originals, and how personal is too personal?
