JCW ONLINE: Tuesday Summer Session: Politics in Writing

Audiences tend to not love a piece of writing that exists solely to make a political point, but is it possible to not let your politics have any influence over your writing? Should you try to force politics into your work? Should you try to keep politics out of it?

JCW’s weekly Tuesday meetings are back with their third annual special summer session! Join us for a little more informal creative fun. We’ll start each meeting with a prompt and some writing and sharing time, then move into a guided discussion. This summer’s discussion topics include things like pantsing versus planning, archetypes versus originals, and how personal is too personal?
