What is “obscene?”
What do people mean when they call writing, poetry, or other artforms obscene, or vulgar? Is obscenity a bad thing? Is it about context? How should a writer react to being told their work is too obscene?
JCW’s weekly Tuesday meetings are back with their third annual special summer session! Join us for a little more informal creative fun. We’ll start each meeting with a prompt and some writing and sharing time, then move into a guided discussion. This summer’s discussion topics include things like pantsing versus planning, archetypes versus originals, and how personal is too personal?
