JCW ONLINE: Tuesday Prompts

All writing can be broken down into scenes, from memoir to fiction, from poetry to prose. It sounds simple, but there’s a lot that goes into scenes. Are they passive or active? Where exactly do they start and end? What do they need?

For Tuesday prompts, Spring 2021, we will look at a different aspect of scene writing. We’ll use three exercises to write and share. These exercises are designed to either inspire new writing or advance projects you’re already working on.
