Poem: The Honey Bee: a Fable by Aesop

The following piece was presented at Jersey City Writers’ literary event – Formation: A Night of Poetry. Please enjoy.

The Honey-Bee:  a Fable by Aesop

There once was a bee in a bonnet,
Who was struggling to work out a sonnet;
In Eureka she stung!
(The sweet poet died young.)

Beware the perils of sonnets!
