JCW Hosts Self-publishing Panel

JCW will host a self-publishing panel on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Indiegrove, 121 Newark Ave., 5th Floor, Jersey City, NJ, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The panel includes:  Laryssa Wirstiuk, author of The Prescribed Burn; Lana Rose Diaz, author of Guerilla Poet Tree; Patricia McFerren, author of The Seer (Lt. Guy LeBlanc Mysteries); and Jamie Godfrey, author of West of Me. The panel will be moderated by local writer, journalist, and JCW member Adriana Rambay Fernández.

Come out to hear local Jersey City writers and poets discuss their experiences with self-publishing.  Our panelists will explain why they choose self-publishing versus traditional publishing. They will also provide an overview of the process, services, tips for new authors, and the true cost of self-publishing.

The panel is open to anyone interested in self-publishing whether they are just getting started writing a novel or have one completed.  There is a suggested donation of $10 to attend.  If you plan on attending, please RSVP at: http://tinyurl.com/RSVP-SelfPub
